Hi, I'm Oliver. I'm a transgender man, and I'm struggling with finding a safe place to live. I'm in the dorms for the rest of the summer but they're booked full for fall, and I'm really worried I'm going to be homeless in three weeks if my college can't do anything to help me. I looked at low-income apartments and homeless shelters but they all have long waiting lists. I think I'll end up on the streets. I'm so scared. I don't know what to do, because I absolutely cannot go "home." I was in real danger there.

Hi Oliver, I'm really sorry to hear that you're going through such a tough time. It's important to prioritize your safety and well-being. Reach out to your college's support services or LGBTQ+ organizations in your area for assistance. They may have resources or solutions to help you find a safe place to live. Don't hesitate to ask for help from those who understand your situation. You don't have to go through this alone. Stay strong, and remember that there are people who care and want to help you.
