I've seem to built a personality out of always being needed.

Hello everyone,

I’m Rose, and I just turned 26. I’m reaching out here because I’m feeling overwhelmed and could really use some support and connection. My parents both had strokes, and we’re currently dealing with the aftermath. My mom is now completely blind and suffers from trigeminal neuralgia, and my dad has mobility issues. My sister and I decided to move back home to care for them.

I got approval to work from home, which I'm grateful for. I was offered a team leadership role but chose to decline it because managing caregiving alongside that responsibility felt impossible. Right now, I’m the support person for my team, the go-to expert when things go wrong, but honestly, managing everything can be exhausting.

It feels like my life is always on emergency alert, and I’m so drained from constantly being needed. I can't afford therapy, and I'm not sure how this app works, but I'm hoping to find some advice or encouragement from those who understand what I’m going through.

Thank you for reading, and I look forward to connecting with you all.
