New beginnings
I am new to this app even though I have had this app
for 4 years haha. Life has been weird lately. I haven’t been feeling like myself. I’ve been burnt out. Along with that I haven’t really been having anyone to hang out with outside of work. Basically I work and come home and repeat the same thing over again. I don’t really have a friend who I can talk to, a friend who can be there for me. So sometimes it is lonely. But lately the loneliness has been worse.
I just want to have a life again. Be able to enjoy what I like. And even rediscover who I am and what I like. Sometimes it’s even hard for me to know what I like. So yeah. I’m dealing with a lot of emotions but journaling has helped me a lot

@andiwrd thank you for your courage and honesty. Opening up is not always easy. Loneliness is the most difficult thing to deal with and journalling is a great tool. I really wish you the best and hope that you can meet people and get out there socialising again. Feel free to send me a message at anytime should you want to chat 😊 have a nice day!
Hey, thank you for sharing. It sounds like you’ve been going through a lot, and it’s okay to feel that way. It’s great that journaling is helping, you’re already taking steps toward feeling better. You’re not alone, and things can get better. I’m here if you ever want to talk!
I bet so many people can probably relate, to the endless work/home cycle. (Especially in this economy).
I know I do.
I've found ways to make my routine fun and exciting, on my own terms,
It could be worth a shot to develop a new routine/hobby ,
to help stepping out of the comfort zone, it can be challenging.
Also,
I've replaced calling 'my loneliness', with 'my solitude', and its made a big difference in my life.
I crave 'my solitude', and I take steps to try new things when it becomes 'my loneliness'.
@courteousTiger0913 I really like that point about solitude vs loneliness. I've recently been trying to reframe alone time in my mind, for when the people I care about are busy and I'm "left alone." Instead of thinking of myself as being left alone or left out or not included, I try to think of the time I've gained that I can use to fully focus on a hobby or interest. It has helped a lot, and helped me reclaim those moments instead of feeling like they're being taken away from me.
