New to 7cups
Hey everyone, I'm Victoria, new to the platform. I would love to meet new people that are going through either the same thing or similar situations and helping each other out by communicating. I'm divorced, have a 10 year old Autistic daughter, I'm dating a guy I went to high school with (graduated in 2008).

Hii theree Victoria, it's nice to meet you. I don't have experiences with what you're going through, but I'd like to welcome you to our little corner of the internet. Meeting new people who can relate to your experiences and provide support is a great way to navigate life's twists and turns. I hope you have a wonderful time here 💜
Thank you @HachiBee!!! I've been divorced since October of 2022 and it hasn't been an easy journey for myself. I supported my husband (now ex-husband) throughout his military journey for 6 years (Army national guard and marine corps) only to get abused physically, mentally and emotionally and cheated on in California. I've been dealing with a lot of anxiety (all my life) and depression (on and off since my daughter was born in 2013). I've pretty much raised my daughter on my own for the majority of her life and it wore me down. If I asked my parents for help, they would refuse and tell me to do it myself. I'll admit I don't have a strong relationship with my family, they treated me like an enemy since i was 18 all because I wanted to do my own thing. They expected me to be under their roof (over 18) following their rules. I'm known as a lonewolf because I'm better off alone. I'm sorry for the long post, had to get it out there!

No worries at all. You can share as much as you want here.
And I'm so sorry you've gone through all that, you don't deserve to be treated like that. I can only imagine the emotional toll of enduring all of that physically and emotionally. It must have been overwhelming.
Raising your daughter independently, despite the lack of support from your family, showcases your resilience and determination. It's really tough when the people who are supposed to be your support system fail to understand your struggles and turn away when you need them the most.
Your strength in facing these challenges head-on is commendable. Expressing your feelings here is a vital step, and I hope that sharing your story provides some relief.
You're not alone in this journey, you've got a whole community here to support you through all this. Your strength and determination are evident, and I hope that you find the peace you deserve 💜
