I dont know if its just me but the night time is the worst part of the day for my anxiety and thought process. The silence. Not having anyone to share my thoughts with in person. What are some coping methods for dealing with solitude.?

@Bipolaraf91

🥺

I get you.

What helps me is listening to music.

If you ever need to talk, maybe coming here and participating in the loneliness huddle room, open twenty four hours, or joining the listening queue, or participating in the forums in some of the ice breakers.

You don't have to be alone here 💕

Writing/journaling those thoughts might help. There’s also the good old’ counting to a certain number- like counting sheep 🐑 and maybe adding in some deep breaths. Whenever I’m extra struggling, I imagine someone I love holding my hand at my bedside like my mom or my aunt. :) I hope any parts of this helps you!

@Bipolaraf91

I can heavily relate to this actually. Sunday nights are very hard for me because I can only think about all of the things I need to get done during the week and this stresses me and makes it hard for me to fall asleep. I personally take deep breaths, sometimes talk to my confidant, and distract myself with a movie, show or book.

If you ever need to chat to someone, feel free to reach out to me, I'd love to chat!

Hey 91,

I understand you!! One of my coping methods is Audibles.

It stops me from ruminating so much. If that doesn't work I listen to something called Drowsy Historian on YouTube music. Although Drowsy Historian tend to have morbid stories so if thats not your thing. Audible is the way to go.
