Do you agree with the opinion that says

“ We are designed to not be in one relationship for long long time “ ?

@Joe1100

I think that could be useful to know some background before answering to this question: Why are you asking? Just curious? Being in one relationship for a lifetime? Or the opposite, experiencing being between a relationship for the future and one from the past?

I believe people who marry their school crush are happy - because they might be not tempted by other options. But maybe they keep wondering what the world is like on the other side of the hedge?

Some people say that when you are young you have go through a few relationships before you find the best one. But sometimes this moment comes when you are just over the hill.

Relationships are often what make your question your previous beliefs. They make you grow (or at least they should) and start to know and understand yourself better.

But every time you say goodbye to a person you loved it's like dying. A part of you is left behind with that person and a part of this person stays in you. It's like perishing and being born again a dozen times. Even though the guilt and the scars remain.

And isn't it possible to grow in a single relationship for a lifetime? I think it is.

I think it's a writer's choice: between one epic saga through all your life and a few precious thought-provoking short stories. And anything you choose, it is good to keep that worth living.

Hi

Thank you for your reply, it was very valuable to me.

If you are in one relationship that takes all your time and energy, do you think life is away bigger than that ?

To spend all your life to build a family with a lot and the traditional problems ? Why ?

Why we have to go in the process with the same thoughts and problems as all of old people did ?

Why not creating a different life why should we stuck into a marriage then kids and go through same stuff as everyone?

@Joe1100

When it comes to relationships, yes, maybe you're right or maybe not. But when it comes to love, it's about one person and happens only once.

@Joe1100 Not really. Real love is completely selfless. Love isn't a matter of attraction. Yes, you should be attracted to your partner; but that isn't what love is. And that transcends time.
