Struggling with identity.
Hello to whoever’s reading this,
I’m a teen, and lately I’ve been struggling with some identity stuff. mainly around accepting that I’m gay.
Even just saying that feels strange. Like, I know it’s probably true, but when I try to say “I’m gay,” something about it feels… off. It feels very wrong and uncomfortable. Like I’m still trying to wrap my head around it, or like I’m not allowed to claim it yet.
It’s hard when you feel unsure about something so personal. Part of me feels like I should already be confident and proud, but honestly? I’m not there yet. I want to be okay with who I am. I just don’t know how to fully accept it.
I guess I’m just hoping someone out there might relate. Or maybe has some advice on how to stop feeling weird or distant from this part of myself.
Thanks for reading if you made it this far.

I totally get the inward confusion and uncertainty. It’s gotta be hard… hugs
