Hi! I'm new to this kind of site and don't really know what I'm doing.

Right now I'm struggling with insomnia. I haven't been to sleep at all and I have to go to work in a few hours. I have ADHD, anxiety, depression and my brain just won't shut off long enough for me to get any decent amount of sleep recently. If anyone has any advice or tips, it would be greatly appreciated.

@amiableHemlock620 awww clearing out minds is hard, and at night it can seem impossible. Perhaps a relaxing bed time routine may help. Failing that what about talking to your doctor, maybe they can help you best ❤ welcome to cups ❤gives you a giant festive tiny hug, feel free to reach out here for support ❤❤ we are all here for you ❤

I used to struggle with really bad insomnia, I think your solution depends on what is causing it. If it’s stress then you can try stress relieving things like light yoga and warm light and journaling before bed. Some general tips are no tech an hour before bedtime and keeping the room a little bit colder and darker than comfortable with a big blanket to snuggle up in. You can also take melatonin and magnesium supplements or sleepy time tea with valerian root.
