My week is going well. I've been riding an emotional high these past couple of days, and I must say, it's been a pleasant surprise. I'll wait and see how long it lasts. I've been cooking a lot, and I'm getting ready to prepare lunch in a bit. My fridge is running low, so I'll probably need to go grocery shopping this weekend. The weather has been sunny, and I've made the most of it by going on regular walks.
Last night, I witnessed an amazing sunset. The sky was blue, and the horizon glowed pink. Safe to say, I took some pictures to capture the moment.

My week has been full of negative thoughts, worry and general apathy. I keep feeling down and weighted. I lay in bed drowning in thoughts and emotions. I can't gather the motivation to get up and do something productive! I lost my job in November and have been doing off jobs here n there. But I'm not happy. I've applied for a new job and have had a couple of interviews..... I hope things go up from there!

I'm sorry to hear you have been struggling so much. Losing a job can really cause a lot of stress and difficult feelings. It sounds to me like you have been doing the best you can.
I hope you hear back from the interviews soon, with some good news.
I am having extreme thoughts of guilt. I went for a chest xray the other day and they found fluid outside my lungs and chest wall. I saw a doctor and he said all looked good, it may have been caused by a virus or my RA. I have 17+ years of substance abuse, and I was afraid I had cancer. He said there were no signs of damage at this time. I was relieved. I then text my sister to tell her the good news and one of her texts back to me is leaving me feeling vulnerable, guilty, ashamed, and even more depressed. (I have diagnosed MDD, anxiety and PTSD.)
On June 2, 2017, my father passed away from complications of Mesothelioma. He was 71 years old. No health issues, never sick, and the greatest man I ever knew.
The one text she sent was that she remembered talking to my father's thoracic surgeon and he spoke about how he could save patients that deliberately abused themselves in active addiction, but he couldn't save my father. I know she probably meant no harm by it, but I took it as, that should've been me, not him. And felt that it was a subliminal dig that I shouldn't be allowed to have clear lungs due to deliberately self-harming myself.
I can't get it out of my head. I feel horrible. . . . This is what I'm going through at the moment. Ugh.

It seems like her response to you triggered a lot of strong feelings. Guilt is a heavy feeling, especially the amount you seem to be carrying. It must be very difficult. Thank you for being so vulnerable and sharing about this.

Not sure where to start. Been going through relationship troubles for the last 3 years. Got in trouble with the law, which ended up with me not being able to go home for 2 1/2 years. And a TPO put out on me. Well now that my legal troubles are over with I can go home. During that 2 1/2 year time frame my fiancé promised me and my kids that once my legal issues were over with I was coming home. Well five months later I am still not home, as my fiancé stated I don’t want you to come home until we have worked on some stuff with us. And because of her decision it is negatively affecting my kids, not to mention me.

@Sunthruclouds hey :) I am mostly feeling confused today to be honest and would be so interested in knowing people's honest opinions, I really need them. Until recently myself and my friend would text all the time, sometimes for hours, we could tell each other anything and then out of the blue, and quite abruptly, he just stopped answering my messages, they are being delivered and he has read them but no reply at all. The suddenness of it and the surprise is what hurts the most. I really don't know how to process it or what to think? :(

I understand that hurts, I would feel the same in your situation, when it changes so suddenly. That is totally understandable and valid. It is difficult to know what is going on when things like that happen. Maybe they are going through something, and not ready to share about it just yet?
