When Growth Separates Paths

There are moments when two people start a journey together, only to find that growth leads them in different directions.

It’s not betrayal. it’s evolution.

Sometimes the most loving thing you can do is to bless the path that takes you further from what once felt familiar.

Have you experienced growing apart from someone but still holding gratitude for what was shared?

@Lulucares -

Yes... when you grow up with siblings that you really admire but then realize years down the road that the assumptions made when we were kids are not the assumptions other families make.  You decide to blaze your own trail, judgement free, knowing lessons we learned early were the best family could do.  Now it's time to open yourself to Freedom, and let the rest follow their own Dreams.

Yes, I have experienced growing apart from someone but still holding gratitude for what was shared. It is for our good that God separates us from certain people. It protects us. I am grateful that God is protecting me from people he doesn't want me to have in my life.
