ACCOUNTABILITY PARTNERS
Hello. I don't know where to post this thread. This is a search for a tight-knit group that is interested to closely collaborate to get out of the endless cycle of depression.
For context, I am 22, I am from the Philippines. I have been crippled by depression for over 2+ years. I am mentally better now. I have clarity and I have goals. But I am still in my depressed lifestyle. I wake up. I procrastinate. I struggle to sleep and repeat. I don't go out and my social circle at literally at home and online only. I got away with this lifestyle because of the pandemic so staying at home to heal and procrastinate became 10x easier. I keep trying every day to be better but it's the same cycle over and over and over again.
I try every week but its not working. :( Now I know I can't do this alone anymore. I know I can't get help when it comes to lifestyle so I imagine trying to work with people might change something. I know a support system is extremely important.
If you're interested and you think you can vibe with me, please get in touch. We can extend our activities to accountability logs and sessions. I'm not looking for temporary people. I'm looking for long term friends. This is not a must but I prefer if you're around my age and you're from Asia. I have difficulty connecting with people online sometimes and I assume it's the cultural difference sometimes.

Hi RainyDays.
It was raining much the last 2 days here in Norway, but today the sun is shining.
You're depressed. Maybe it's good for you to see a doctor and get med for the depression. Some counseling can also be good to get to know yourself better.
At 7Cup you cannot write with members, but there are listeners who can listen and talk to you. You can search for the things that are important for you with a listener.
There is also group to assist depressed persons at 7Cup.
And there is sharing circle 24/7 - where members can share or just listen.
All the best from Helga.

I am poor. I tried many times but I simply cannot afford. And I am not alone. I am the breadwinner of my family (my parents do not work and I am sending my siblings to college) so this advice unfortunately does not apply to me. I would have done it years ago if it was really an option for me but it sadly isnt within my reach at all. Thanks for the information.
@RainyDays2020
college is worthless now
Teach your kids to make money with the net
@SigmundBel
I do not have kids (yet) but my sister want to join the police so I'm sending her to college. I recently graduated college and it's very difficult to get a stable job at this stage. What kind of work do you do online?
@RainyDays2020
Small Cap/MId Cap companies are prone to hiring because of the equal treatment act.
If I as an Employer fire you because you haven't done your job you can go to your gov and say that you fired him because of racist reasons etc.
Then the government sues you and you require a lot of capital to pay all the fees associated with lawyers to prove to the gov that you did not sue your employee because of racist reasons.
Everyone is outsourcing through fiverr, upwork etc.
Golden Trends currently: Influencing, Coding, M&A.
None of those skill sets require a degree
@SigmundBel
Another reason why smaller/mid-cap companies don't hire full-time is because to hire you full-time they then need to ensure your healthcare costs.
That is only worth if you stay for a long period of time, healthcare is very expensive.
There might be more reasons, but from asking a lot of small-cap entrepreneurs and some mid-cap most listed these 2 reasons.
@RainyDays2020
Btw, let's work.
@RainyDays2020
Hi!
There is cheap help online "Better help" (I have not checked it out!) and
"meomind" - maybe does not cost anything - I don't know.

Hello, I am 24 from India. I too struggle with social life. I have been taking medication for past two weeks to get motivation to do things, I was able to follow an almost perfect schedule for first 3 days but went back to being lazy and procrastinating. I want to get my life together. I was wondering how this collaboration or support system works...
Hello @RainyDays2020,
I once saw you on the support circle, and I could relate to your share though I'm on the other side of the situation. I, too, have been struggling the past years. It sounds to me like you're pretty much describing my situation too.
I'm Asian, but I'm more than a few years older than you. But If you don't mind to see if we can vibe, count me in in this group.
@RainyDays2020 If you still need more people, feel free to come message me
@RainyDays2020 Are you still looking for a sparring buddy?
I'd like to offer my support. I'm not in Asia and I am 33 years old. The most that I can get out of bed and watch TV, sometimes I have Dr appointment during the week 2
Hi. Sending hugs as I would to my own kid! Obviously I'm not an Asian in my 20s. Have an amazing husband and amazing kids. If you ever wanna talk I can listen....if I can figure out how to use the app. Know there are people who care. I don't know what the cultural differences are. However this week 2 kids mentioned how the younger generation of Americans is very kind
And accepting.
