You ever seen Schindler's List or Boy in the Striped Pajamas? Kinda like that. Of course, nowhere near as horrifying, but that same tone. Black and white for sure.

No, not horror in that sense. Not like gory monsters. I meant horrifying because they're both set in World War II during the holocaust. They're incredible movies, but very sad and solemn. Has a sobering vibe to it.

It would start off as a psychological thriller that eventually starts tapering more into slice-of-life, romance and hurt/comfort...if that makes any sense lol.

Can it be multiple dramas? Perhaps like the scary movie series where it can be scary at times, funny at others, have some romance to it, but at the end everything comes together and all the horror goes away?
