If you could live in another historical period, would you? If so, which one?

@zealousGrace5023

Honestly looking back history really doesn't sound too fun. Maybe living in the early 2000s, I could have made a lot of decisions to be a lot better off than I am right now.

I have some royal blood in me, and absolutely love my family history and study it often! lots of battles, inventions, movements, changes of power between cousins, betrayl, births and mysterious deaths. Its all so interesting. But with history you have to remember the writers are human, and humans like to exaggerate (especially the men in history) and change details to make themselves look better for the teller of the story. Usually the wrong person gets told as the hero.

One of my favorite stories of my family is of a woman named Mary. I was litterally told by my grandmother (who I just learned was a narcissist) to never speak of this Mary.. but the more digging I did the more I learned about her. I was told that she was evil and hated her country and thats why she's shunned from family history, not even written in our family lines (they hated her just that much!) Only to find out the truth, then men and Lords and Male Leaders of the family hated her simply because she was female and she wasn't going to let a man (or many men) even lords push her around. that she was one of the strongest, most heartbroken, smart, keen, quit witted, proper, homeland loving, and most loyal queen in all of history.. its always funny to dig and dig and find the truths behind the tales.
