Icebreaker

What I wanted to be changed as I grew up 😮
- Age of 7 - I wanted to be a teacher to follow my mom's path. She's a high school English teacher.
- Age of 13 - I wanted to be an engineer or go into tech, as I got into coding and was fascinated with the possibilities.
- Current - I want to become an entrepreneur who leaves a legacy and gives back to the community.

I wanted to be a firefighter or even a writer growing up, now I find myself pursuing a path of a physician. Life changes so much!
@mal4life - Like many others, what I wanted to be oscillated throughout my life.
I wanted to be a firefighter when I was around 13-14 because my older brother is a firefighter / studied fire science.
Then I got entranced with the culinary arts since I coincidentally had a culinary arts program at my high school!
However I instead went to community college and studied computer science. Currently I work as a systems administrator.
I wanted to be an astronaut when I was little, then I wanted to be an oceanographer and I became an RN who then went into IT and did a lot of programming for the applications that doctors and nurses use to chart in. I'm 57 now, and I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up, though I'm leaning towards writing even if it's just a hobby.
