You are searching for a new you. You will find it over time, but you will find it and you will be better and stronger than before.@Roxie8907

I want to be a Lawyer. I want to be the voice for the ones without a voice. Justice needs to be served in our society, and I want to be a big part of that process.
@VerdictEndgameOver You fight for justice and want peace. You believe in doing the right thing. Your voice will save many! All the best
My career goals are to become a psychologist and eventually open my own practice, so I'll be able to help lots of people. In my personal life, my goals are to get married and have a family.

@Drepet5684 I am sure you can do it! Believe in yourself! Anything is Possible! All the best to you :)
@Dazzle28purvi Thank you!
I want to be able to reduce my anxiety levels and also my depression. Also my trust issues, so that myself and my boyfriend can be more close to eachother and that I can put my guard down and allow him in.
@HelenFalls You would like to improve yourself and be happier and let others be comfortable with you. It will be tough and will take a lot of time and effort, but it is worth it! You can do it and I DO believe in yourself! All the best!

A year ago I would have said my goal was to travel the world, experience what I could. I started taking steps, no leaps, in that direction. February 2016 I left to hike the Appalachian Trail. A footpath on east coast USA that travels from Georgia to Maine. Well long story short I spent 120 days hiking day and day by myself. It was rewarding and my depression was on the backburner, for the first time in a while. However once I got about 1,500 miles in, ( now in Connecticut) my depression was back in full swing and I came home. Now that I'm home I breakdown almost every other night thinking about how I should have finished the damn hike. On the other days I'm proud of what I've done, immensly proud. I came home for a reason and I think I've finally figured it out. I didn't come home because I couldn't handle the hike. I didn't come home to sit on my ass and play video games, I didn't come home to sit on Reddit all day, I didn't come home to take out a shit ton of loans and go to college. I came home because I am just lonely. I've alienated myself from my age group, I left college halfway through and am now working as an EMT. I almost want to delete this because you asked a simple question about goals and I just whined about my privileged life but I'll post it because it feels good typing it out. So , my goal is to find someone to share it all with. Someone to talk to, someone to experience the world with me. I don't know how or when that'll happen but I hope it will someday. And in the meantime I've decided I won't waste away doing a career I have no passion for. I'm already saving money to go hike again next year on the west coast, the PCT is particular. I'm also going to be fundraising for a suicide prevention campaign during my hike.
Thanks for reading.
@CapableButton You have definitely left me speechless. I had joyful tears. Your story is inspiring and motivating, and there is so much to say! I do hope you get what you want and you're living the dream! Congratulations for all that you have accomplished and remember, everything happens for a reason. Going back home made you realize yourself better and this time around you're more than prepared to take up a challenge, you're ready to take on more in life! Don't let depression suffocate you and define you. Let it push you past its limits and broaden you as an individual! I wish you the very best for your goals! :) You will surely do it!
@Dazzle28purvi To feel at peace and comfortable with myself and my surroundings. Everyday I feel like I have no roots and that makes me feel uneasy. Then I feel so self conscious about it that I think people will think that I am unstable. So I isolate myself as much as possible even though I know its stunts my growth as an adult person.
@zenob3433 The fact that you know what affects you, your surrounding and who you are is a great benefit! You can get onto the right track by making the right choice. You are not far from reaching your goals! Be wise :) All the very best to you and remember, you are you! Dont fear other peoples' judgements of you. Their negative opinions are false based on their perspective and standard. We all are different. They shouldnt define you to what they think of who you should be! You be what you want! Have a good day!
what actions you take kindness you give is what matters. most people are thinking about other stuff. It only matters what you think@zenob3433
I want to become self sufficent, sort out my health, maybe write a book...
@CalmGrizzly That is a great idea to work on yourself! It can take you far in life when you feel at peace with yourself and proud! All the very best! :)

and not sure if i can still achieve that...
for i finished medical school...but work is really challenging!
Well, first of all, I want to get a college degree. I also want to become a successful author and maybe even do some party planning and interior decorating. But most of all, I want to leave my mark on this world and die happily. I want to help as many people as I can in my lifetime and make this world a better place. If I achieve all, or even some of this, I will consider my life a success. <3
@JustALover you can do it girl!❤️
@Cat654123 Thank you so much <3
@JustALover You have already laid your path to success. :) The first thing is to know what you want, the second is to know how to get there and the third is to strive for it. Some challenges in life help you see your dream better and truthfully, you WILL succeed. I wish you all the best! Keep it alive!
@JustALover
