Which Is Worse?
Failing or Never Trying? Why?
Do you know any inspirational quotes about failing? Let us know in the comments below!

I think never trying!
The famous quote "You miss 100% of the shots you don't take" applies to my answer. You will never know how good or what opportunity can come out of just attempting something. Even if you fail that's some information you know you can build on and either confirm that it isn't for you or motivate you to work harder next time.

I completely agree with your answer! Not trying something probably often results from a fear of failure so I feel that also if it was confirmed it can turn into a great learning opportunity anyway! Many times I was scared to do something but in the end, I succeeded even though I did not believe I can do it.
I don't agree with the concept of failure and success

This is a nice thought! I also try to avoid these terms because I do not like putting labels on things like that. Could you elaborate on your reasoning and thoughts? :)
Both are very subjective things.
I think all is a process and we are all in the process of...
Awareness of this process is what is essential in my opinion.
Nothing is linear and clear cut.
What does it mean when someone describes a person as successful? If he or she is successful in exploiting people to make money does that mean that they are a successful person? From who's point of view and from which moral perspective?
Working with young teenagers I have seen the concept of failure and success is really destructive especially for students who have learning difficulties or different learning styles and they are put under great pressure to avoid ' failure'.
This word keeps coming up so much in people who are struggling. We need to move away from the model of life being a competition and a race.

Thank you for joining this discussion and sharing your opinion. You brought up some very important points. I also think that using this concept can be very destructive, regardless of age. I think putting emphasis on the process, as you said, is necessary. If the outcome is not as we wanted it is still a very valuable opportunity for us to self-develop. I feel that when people feel they are ´successful enough´ they might stop learning and improving.
When your destination is called winning, then it would be just failure. Ppl should understand that there is nothing called winning/failing in/on something. " Improvising " or " Continuation " is the fuel of your reactions. What are you trying to achieve? If your goal is to win the situation you are in right now is not at all the beginning of your happiness. Just keep doing the good deeds to the understanding of this nature to forget the Mirage called winning/failing.
