How to find my own posts?
Hi!
Is there a way to find the posts or comments I have wrote to 7cups? The notifications dissappear once I click them, and they just take me to the thread's first post, not to mine or not to see the answer/comment someone has written to me.
Or if I click them but accidentally close the app or think "oh I will answer better when I have more time" - I can't find them anymore. 🤯
If I can't remember exactly where I have commented (and I don't because of my constant brain fog), or there is many comments - I don't find my comments and have possibility to answer back to people... 🤯
Also I'm not sure if I use thread/post/comment right, as a newbie I find them a bit confusing too, also English is not my motherlanguage, but I hope this makes a bit of sense...
Also is it normal to get notifications from communities I have not joined? Like "answer this fun question"... and when I go there, it's not my community... 🤔
I use this with my phone, Android app. And I feel like it's (app) not working very well... 😕

Hello Sophie. There is a way to view posts that either you have created or may have subscribed to receive notifications each time there is a new reply. By clicking this link here: https://www.7cups.com/forum/search.php it takes you to the forum search section of the site. When the page is fully loaded, you should see two boxes: Subscribed Threads and My Threads. By selecting the box that says Subscribed Threads and clicking the search button, all of the threads that you have subscribed to should appear. The same procedure for the My Threads should follow. The only difference is that it will show you the threads that you have created yourself. Whenever you are trying to view notifications, it would be best to do the from the site or using an internet browser.
Post to thread- means that you are leaving a comment or response to an already existing post
Reply- means that you are commenting
Create a new thread- this means that you will be creating a new forum post in a subcommunity
And yes it is normal to receive notifications from communities that you are not subscribed to. Those notifications are often sent to everyone on the site, so you don't have to be a part of the community to receive them.
