Here is mine
Everything is blurry,
nothing feels real,
I Feel Nothing.
Twisted harsh thoughts whispering,
“You’re not enough”
“no one cares”
“you’re a burden”
“it’s all your fault”.
Tight knots controlling my instincts,
molding my urges,
putting a sharp chisel to my wooden instincts.
Shoving my thoughts aside,
replacing it with numbness and insecurity.
A still puddle.
Suddenly a ripple moves on the still puddle of my mind,
a thought.
“What do I feel?”.
The whispers try to push it down
“That doesn’t matter like you!”.
But rather than listen to the whispers,
I just watch the ripple,
rambling,
closing my eyes,
the ripples turn to a current, then into waves.
Immediately my eyes snap open,
I
yank that whispering mouth,
grab those knots, pull them apart,
shove them down the whisperer’s throat,
reshaping and rearranging their voice.
Instead of whispering manipulating insecurities.
Now it whispers boundaries, compassion, creating values,
even teaches.
Turning the poison into compassion.
Everything is no longer empty,
It’s no longer still,
I can feel.
What used to be a pond is now this soft controlled tsunami of colorful thoughts.
I am no longer my past,
I Am Me.

The Road Not Taken - Robert Frost
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveller, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less travelled by,
And that has made all the difference.

@generousSkiesMalachi6939 another poem
Impatiently sitting,
Stuck in my mind,
like lightning trapped in a bottle.
Voices,
noises,
people,
like live wires,
all moving frantically.
My teeth pierce skin,
shocks firing,
sensations coursing through my body,
stimulations sparking rapidly.
Sensations building,
nowhere to go,
muscles tense,
spasming without stopping,
preparing to short circuit.
Building,
Growing,
Building,
Growing,
Energy in a frenzy
Eyes closed, head down
I breathe.
All my senses shutting down,
Then dimming.
I begin to rewire,
redirecting flow of energy,
toward a circuit breaker.
Suddenly,
My senses heighten,
Energy flowing smoothly,
my energy has a place to go.
No more rapid buildup
energy became directed,
now used to fuel,
energizing my battery,
Feeding Me Power.
Energizing Me.
