Hello everyone. Here are some things to improve your day to day life and overall health. I personally advocate for each one and suggest that you do your own research and find out what works best for you.

* getting enough sleep. I recommend 9 hours of sleep. Children and adults need more.

* eating good food. Make sure you get enough vitamins and minerals. reduce on things that do not have much nutrition value.

* exercise. This includes stretching and breathing exercises. I'm personally working on losing some weight myself.

* having social support. Being isolated for a very long time is not healthy. We all need human interaction and love and guidance.

* prayer or meditation. Find peace within you.

* get a pet. My cats are wonderful and it's nice to take care of an animal as they take care of you.

* get a plant. Not only are they beautiful but they release the stuff that we breathe in. Again take care of mother nature and mother nature will take care of you.

* reduce stress. Most people go to their doctor because of stress related stuff. Stress can make you sick in so many ways. Try to reduce and find any resolutions to anything making you stressful

* journaling and art. Writing stuff down is my little secret. Keep things out of your head. Express yourself through paper. Very effective way to keep things organized is by writing down things.

* music. Listening to good music is important because they can make us feel connected with sound. Make us feel like we're not alone.

* education. Learn and keep learning. Keep asking questions and believe that you can achieve anything.

These are just a few things and I'm sure someone would get technical about it. They all do good stuff for the mind and heart.

I spend a few moments everyday with my pet just stroking it, admiring it and how much it loves me. If you don't have your own pet find a neighbourhood cat or spot some pretty birds ^_^

Stress management: Find positive, healthy ways to cope with stress in your life. This way, you can have more eustress (the good stress) than distress. My biggest suggestion is find what works for you and roll with it. Keep trying until you do!

Appreciate the little things: I love to take pictures, of anything and everything in my daily life. A picture is worth a thousand words. By doing this, I can remember how I felt in that moment, how my life was going, and have positive things to look back on. I appreciate the little things, whether it's a latté at a new coffee shop in town, an incredible, unforgettable moment, the beauty of nature, or the mundane things we take for granted. There's so much to be grateful for.

Some days can be really hard.

Thanksgiving changes everything. Being grateful for the serenity & simplicity of the little things that bring our little hearts comfort.. like a pot of tea, a good book, laughing at a fav tv show, a heartfelt convo, sunshine through the window, that its not over yet....
