Accidentally took too much Citalopram
Hi, Hope someone can ease my mind I usually take 20mg of citalopram in the morning and I thought I had forgotten to take it when it got to evening so I took one more. Am I going to be okay? So it's 40mg over the course of more than 12 hours.
I don't have experience with this medication, however I think it would be best to contact your local pharmacy!! People accidentally take extra medications all the time! I know I have! So what I've done in the past is call my pharmacy and inform them on the medication, dose, and situation and they'll let you know the steps to take next!
I think you’ll be fine a lot of people take 40 mg of celexa, worst case you may feel a little tired or something.
