Anyone else scared of china like I am?..
And Korea(Both of them)?
I'm not gonna go into specifics, but these countries scare me..a lot.
I have the strong belief that the end of the world will start in East Asia.
Go figure.
@ADX98927 Hi Ad! Actually I am from there and currently living there. I feel somehow terrified too...Can I talk with you over this feeling? It actually bothered me so much and part of the reason why I am here for. Thanks
@ADX98927 I am not scared of specific countries, per se. What I'm scared of is egos and how those egos hold our fate in the palm of their hands.
A country, in particular is not what should be feared, it is the people that make decisions that affect your life the should be of concern...kinda like how your boss can choose to fire you at any time, or a teacher can fail you if they don't like you.
I'm not, but right now that seems like a very rational fear.
It is a very specific fear. The interesting point here would be to try and understand why China specifically, or East Asia anyways. To me, as it has already been said here. It may not be a country or a part of the world that is at stake, but rather people and how they behave. That scares me. Politics and the way they act define our future. And we are not able to control it. It is very scary. China has an economical expansion policy with the new Silk Road that may frighten us. Regarding this problem or any other, always remember to stay open-minded. When a fear gets hold of you, don't focus on it too much. Take a step back and a deep breath. Whatever scares you, there is a "why" that explains it all :)
Have a good time on 7 cups!
Hello to all good people. I'm brand new. Looking around the world we'd be naive not to think that China and USA are adversaries much more so than Russia. Anyway, I spent virtually no time thinking about these things anymore. At 59, I've realized that my time is precious and life is short and having fun and being good to people is the prime directive. I spend time staring at the stars or moon or birds, etc., listening to music, and so on. Any thoughts I have on such matters matter not at all even if some agree with me. I can't worry about China when I need to be focused on keeping myself in check, attending to the problems of my community and loved ones. Wasting time on such things is just a mistake. It CAN be a useful exercise but not for very long. There are far more good things happening in the world than bad. Remember, the news focuses exclusively on the bad. Life on this planet is infinitely better now than at anytime....except for all the ways we are destroying Mother Earth. There are fewer wars, far less starvation and diseases. So many good things are happening. When we get sucked into worry about international and geopolitical things.............it robs us of energy we could use to do good things. My 2 cents.
