@helloCranberry5684 first real love of mine. I had previous relationships and did love and care for them. But this relationship was true genuine first love. Real love. I come from a hard childhood/family. Mentally and emotionally abusive. So you don't get much love and in the end, you aren't sure how to give it or receive it. My boyfriend at the time had the same problem. It used to frustrate him because he could only somewhat give it when he was drunk. I think the first time I really felt that empathy was when he messaged me around 11 at night crying. Saying he was at a cousin's wedding and pictured it being us. But he didn't know how to say it exactly. So his words were a bit fumbled. He was embarrassed. It hit me then that me and him knew each other better then anybody else we had ever met.
