Hello, am new

My name is Rob, typical 20 year old college dropout and NEET with no friends or future. I'm here because I wanted to see if I could establish a new support group where I could take my mental health struggles without worry of burdening others and driving them away again. I like to draw, and not much else. I am a little overwhelmed by the site but I owe it to the people who were once in my life to try and better myself.

Hello! I’m also new. I also drove people away and have no close friends. Nice to meet you.

Life has taught me that you can’t control Narcissist loyalty. No matter how good you are to them it doesn’t mean that they treat you the same way.I have been married to my Narcissistic husband for 7 years with no idea he was cheating. Suddenly i started noticing changes in behavior, i suspected something was wrong. So i confided in a friend who convinced and introduce me to cyber expert who was able to gain remote access into my husband’s mobile phone, text messages, ***, ***, *** account whatsApp messages, Videos calls and voice note, It seemed as though my life was spinning out of control getting to find out he was cheating

@robinvhHi Rob, I’m quite a bit older than you, but struggling with similar issues. Just wanted to tell you to hang in there. It will get easier with time. I’m interested in joining your support group. I’m more experienced at handling depression, maybe. But maybe we can help each other. I just know that you’re a worthwhile person. I can tell. So am I. But we both have people who tell us we aren’t, I think. I’ve learned to love myself anyway. People think they know us, but they don’t. We need to be there for each other. I’m new here, too

@robinvh Hi Rob, welcome to 7 Cups!

First of all, it takes a lot of courage to reach out and seek support, so give yourself credit for this important step. Your feelings and experiences are valid, and it's okay to feel overwhelmed. Remember, you’re not alone in this journey.

Art can be a powerful outlet for expressing emotions and finding a sense of peace. Drawing allows you to convey what words sometimes cannot. Embrace this passion—it’s a gift that can provide solace and connection.

Life can seem daunting and uncertain at times, especially when you feel isolated or unsure about the future. But every small effort you make towards bettering yourself is a victory. Change takes time, and it’s okay to move at your own pace. Each step, no matter how small, is a step forward.

Hope can be a beacon in the darkest times. There are brighter days ahead, and the strength you show today will guide you there. Surround yourself with positive influences, and don’t be afraid to seek out those who genuinely care about your well-being. A support group can be a great way to connect with others who understand and share your struggles.

Remember, it's okay to lean on others and ask for help. Your journey is unique, and your courage to improve yourself is a testament to your strength. Believe in your ability to create a brighter future, one day at a time.

With empathy and hope,
