Anyway, I am devastated my husband says he is divorcing me because I don't respect him he says. You know I try to be with him every day and all he does is watch TV and ignore me. He makes fun of my love for him and when I cry asking him to even look in my direction. I think love comes naturally. I would never let someone I love walk away and say I could get over them. I know he is my only one and I live him more than life itself. To me love is effortless. There us nowhere I would rather be than holding him forever except when my kids are home. He kind of treats me like a maid with benefits. Can't say you love someone if you don't put in the work. Anyway, trying to keep it together. What should I do live my life alone while he ignores me or walk away. Remember I have been with this person for 13 years and married for 8. I am so shocked and devastated 💔 😢

For most of the month of March I just cried and cried. But this month, I’m starting to make plans, for this my next season of life.

All good things come to an end. Maybe he has problems elsewhere in his life but there is no excuse for taking his angst out on you. Try not to appear vulnerable, bullies love that and feed off it.
Personally, I would not hang around and be a verbal punchbag. Alone is not a bad place as you will still have your true friends around you. Embrace your unknown future life! Him, let him rot in front of his television.
I’ve been married for almost 20 years. However, after she spent most of the last 2 months devaluing everything I said or did, I decided the only way I could get control of my life again, was to see an attorney and file paperwork to serve her with, when she makes her exit. She wanted to stay married on paper (and have a sterile, affection less marriage) in 2 different locations. But why in the world would I want to do that???
