Hi I
Hello! You could call me by my username or simply "V". A "brief" intro:
I'm 33, an artist and living with my girlfriend. For what we have, it's pretty sweet and I never forget to appreciate our life and it's fortunes. Though, I'm not the one bringing in the big money for us to live and that stress is starting to weigh in, but I do what I can. She's an amazing and supportive partner with her own goals and gives me space to achieve mine. I identify as both male and female - and, bless her, she even understands and supports me in this.
We're both battling with depression and loneliness, but our communication is exceptional and what holds us together. I've lost most of my closest friends in such a short time and find myself at home almost 24/7. Probably my most self defeating thoughts are struggling to convince myself that I matter to more than just the two of us and that I am not good enough (in anything, for anyone).
I once used 7Cups for professional therapy some years ago and it brought me back on my feet then. I hope to get to know some of you and perhaps we could support each other in growing past these mental barriers. :)
I suggest you to consult with the professional doctors or counselors. As we are not the professional doctors that tell you or suggest to you what is good for you and what is not. One of my close friend is also suffering from depression or stress and he consulted with the professional counselor's name called Alliance Experiential Counseling. you can also consult with them.
@OrangeDrum hi I'm new here
