Good afternoon my name is Mae. I have diagnosed with serve depression for 20 years. The last three years has been the worst. I started a business, my mother died, COVID came, I lost my house and was living with different family members for the past two years. My husband and I are still married but don't live together because of our current living situation. I just had my car repossessed and trying to figure out what to do to get to both jobs( my business and full time bartending job). My husband was diagnosed with congestive heart failure 5 years ago and is not able to work. So I had to become the sole breadwinner. We went from almost $95,000 a year to $30,000 instantly. I feel behind on most of my bills. When my mom died it killed me, she was my biggest cheerleader and to lose my mom at the age of 57 and myself 35. She died one month after Christmas and one month before my birthday. I get so depressed this time of year because she loved Christmas and knowing she is not here with my sister and I sucks. My parents were divorced 30 years and when I turned 18 my dad pretty much dismissed my sister and I. I have seen or heard from him in about 4 years. Before that it was maybe once or twice a year. I just try to get through the day but it seems to be harder now.

I can relate in someway, I've been stuck in depression for years, no matter how much I tried, I was always brought down by several things, with the most recent is that I lost my friend due to a fallout, which is why I came here, I'm sorry that you had to go through this, its nice to meet you by the way, and I hope you can find someone that understands you
