How did you hear about seven cups of tea ?
Googled for a site where I could provide psychological support online and luckily I found it easily!!
My bestfriend actually recommended it to me as she saw I was dealing with a lot of stress and said this would be a good way to vent without being judged & I absolutely love it
I was just really sad and lonely so I was searching up Suicide on Tumblr and they sent me here and gave me the suicide hotline number

I was online during school. Everyone in my class was ignoring me and Ifelt non-existant. I searched for online chat rooms and this one was unblocked by my school system, which is really weird, because it blocks everything.
Thats excally what happend for me
I decided to post my story about how I heard about 7 Cups of Tea because it is different than the typical story.
I was down and looking for a job that I would actually enjoy that had something to do with what I went to college for and I typed in "psychology internships in (my area)" and instead of clicking on the usual job search engines, I clicked on a link I haven't seen yet. It was a job search engine for online internships and jobs. I saw the word "tea" and immediately clicked on the link without even reading it.
When I read what 7 Cups of Tea was about, I knew I had to be apart of it. Growing up, I didn't have many resources that teens and adults have now and having gone through life the way I had and learning to grow from it, I told myself I would share my strength with those who need it. Which is why I went to school for psychology. I wish so much that this website was around when I was younger, but I am so happy that it is a reality now and people of all ages can use this wonderful free service.
A friend recommended it to me after a few things slipped out.
Through Reddit.
