How did you hear of 7 cups?
Well I heard about 7 cups..because for years I had been looking for someone that could understand and to talk too...Found many other things...that were supposed to help, but nothing stable in a way that I could keep coming in and finding help. Constantly i felt lonely and mistreated and no one understood. One day I googled I NEED SOMEONE TO TALK TOO..I was pretty desperate..and i had seen this site many times because i recognized it and finally clicked on it and i have been here ever since. November 2014 will never forget. THANKS 7 cups of tea for the support and care!
I heard about 7CupsOfTea through a friend. Glad she told me about the site :)
For me there was a reddit post and I loved the idea. This is a great website.

About a year ago I was in a deep depression. I was chatting around with friends, I was really sad, but most of my "friends" didn't want to hear about my problems. I didn't know where to go, I didn't even want to visit a doctor in the city because I felt embarassed of my problems or that no one cares about them. But a close friend recommended me 7 Cups Of Tea. She sent me the link and I went on it. First I was unsure what's going on but when I first talked to a Listener I finally felt released, someone would finally understand me, listen to me and help me find a way I can beat my depression. A few days ago I thought of this page again and became a Listener so I can give back what the few Listeners were given to me last year. Thanks for everything!

I found this when I searched for help and after I used it, it helped me out so much.
Was on the internet and saw the link for imalive.com, a chat group for actively suicidal people. But their chats we're always full, so they referred me here. I didn't think I would like something like this, but after a couple times of being turned away by imalive and just desperately needing someone to talk to I decided to try this out and I love it 😂
