I am a weirdo

[To be clear I am using the "odd, eccentric, or unconventional person" definition, not a dangerous or vicious psycho.]

What is a weirdo? Well, I was born that way, not like someone with trisomy 21, but my intellectual disability is the root cuase of my mental health issues. As I learned to practice being a critical thinker and to be more mindful about how my life is, I have come to acept my weirdoness.

Yet, I stuggle to find to words to convey what is actualy happening in my mind so others can understand my irraional behaviors is a medical condition, not just an emotional one. My life is great, I should be happy, yet living with Adhedonia has sucks the zest for life right out of me. That's my introduction.

Does anyone understand why I am fine being labeled as a weirdo?

I applaud you for accepting yourself just the way you are, @Bawana. I think it's fine to be a weirdo if that helps you gain peace with your condition! You are unique, you are special, you are smart, and you are awesome! Take care, Bawana.
