I'm a Newbie

Hi everyone :)

My real name is Laura, and I live in winter cold and long, summer short and sweet, Northwestern Ontario, Canada. You can drive 24 hrs and get to Alberta, or you can go the other direction and end up in Southern Ontario,

I am attending Cambrian college asynchronously in the comfort of my own home. I joined 7 cups because it was part of my communication class, and I chose this path.

Not only am I attending college full-time for one year, but I also work full-time in a school in a kindergarten class. In that kindergarten class, we have a little girl who is totally blind and nonverbal and I think that's the most exciting part, and my husband works away, so it's jam-packed. I have three grown children that don't live in the same community as me.

I like to think of myself as a kind caring, compassionate person who will listen to help you out. I enjoy solitude also; it gives me time to reflect.
