Introduction
Hello everyone! My name is Tracy and I'm just looking to find some solace.
My
adult daughter (age 32) has bipolar disorder. She recently asked to
borrow money to pay her bills (we've been doing this since August). My
husband finally put his foot down and said no. Now she isn't even
speaking to us. LAlso, her main job right now is substitute teaching.
I went to my retirement and got the money. But she is refusing to take it.
My
biggest concern is my 9-year old grandson. She is awful when she is
manic and I've already in the days that have passed heard her be very
unkind to him. I fear she will quit letting us see him.
I have to be honest. I feel like someone died. I am a Christian and I have prayed very hard. I really felt led by God to take the money out of my retirement.
How do I survive this?

Hi Tracy, thank you for sharing this very difficult situation with us. To be honest, it sounds like quite a situation to be in with a lot of moving parts, and it'd be hard to suggest anything without being accidentally ignorant to other factors that are going on. In all I hope everything does work out and you're able to see your grandson again.
