Hi.

I'm having a bad day and thought I would look for inspiration. I saw a post from a doctor saying his job was taking too much out of him mentally and emotionally and it struck a chord with me. I work as a nurse and it is exhausting. Putting your care and attention into strangers. Skipping meals to help feed someone else's family member. It's harder than I thought

Whoever the doctor was - get in touch. I can't find your message now, but it's good to vent to someone. Your second post said it was embarrassing - believe me it's not embarrassing. It's a strong thing to do to admit it's a struggle

@Catlover1994 people in your profession are inspirational. Whilst im not the doctor or in your profession i understand the frustrations.

Im sure im not the only person who value the contribution, i hope you can turn it round. Thank you

@Gujon3073

It certainly takes its toll on the people working there. My days off are worrying if everyone did what they were supposed to and followed up what needed to. I come home worrying if I was the nurse I wanted to be when I started. If I was kind enough to people. If I did manage to treat people how I want to be treated.

Unfortunately most the time it's also wondering why people don't have the same respect back. Why people don't treat the staff as they would want to be treated. People expect everything from you and sadly it's not often you get a thank you.

So thank you for the appreciation
