Nervous and Hopeful
Hello, Everyone. I hope you're all having an amazing day.
I'm nervous and excited to be a part of this 7 Cups community. It is seemingly an amazing place to communicate, relate, vent and more.
I am a 35 year old male, you can call me, Frozty. I've had various struggles throughout my life from childhood to present. From depression, to baggage and trauma. I am and currently dealing with the consequences of not dealing with my problems completely. Or at least not thoroughly healing.
I don't expect 7 Cups to fix me but I know that talking can be a huge help in itself. I'm intrigued to find Empathy, understanding and even some much needed criticism.
My current goals are to truly see myself through the good and be vulnerable with the bad. To have more accountability all around. I also want to nurture my "inner-locus" of control.

Can totally relate, sounds Ike similar experiences to my own. Well.. everyone's different, but you know what I mean. 33 year old male here also trying to get better at everything I need to do to really function in the world also doing a lot of internal work so I can evolve beyond my past traumas and sense of hopelessness and social anxiety etc. lol wouldn't mind chatting sometime so feel free to hmu. 🙃
Thank you! It feels good to know someone is there and has some sense of understanding. Though, I'm sorry you're dealing with the things you are. Keep you're head up. Reaching out 1 on 1 can be tough for me but I am working on it! ð©µ

@FroztyHD nice to meet you 😊 Fair play to you for being honest and opening up, I admire that in people because seeking help is a strength and it also allows others to see that they are not alone and they took can get help. Also when you have been in a hard place, it enables you to use this in a transformative way, so you can help someone else as you've walked in their shoes. Hello friend, and be very welcome to 7 cups! :)
I'm relatively New here too, am here for 10 days... I always like to see the posts here and the group chats and vent when i need, i feel really welcome and feel like this is a space i won't be judged.
So, i'm a nearly 28 years old female, you can call me Rafaela or Rafa and i'm from Brazil.
And i can relate to you a little, i suffer from depression too and anxiety, which i deal with almost daily :/ i'm not in a therapy right now, but i'm medicated. And i wanna share a little bit of my story.
I got out of a toxic relationship 3 months ago, and It lasted only 2 months. It was a really difficult time, i passed through a lot of pain and suffering. So i still keep emotional wounds from that, and the worst is i still have feelings for him. I'm only glad It ended before It got worse. And It caused me a lot of anxiety and stress at the time :( so now i'm working in healing from that and 7 cups has helped me, which i'm really glad 💙 anyway, i wish you find yourself and reach your goals here. You're not alone!
