New to 7 Cups :)

Hi there! Im new to 7 Cups and am eager to get some advice :) my situation is somewhat unique... I am 23. I recently moved in with my boyfriend (25) and his 6 year old daughter. We have been together for about a year and I am struggling in the step mom type role. I would love to have a listener who has some perspective on this situation! I love him and his daughter, and she and I are VERY close. That being said, it is also very difficult sometimes and strenuous on mine and my boyfriends relationship. I find myself taking a lot of things personally and maybe overthinking? Thanks so much in advance! :)
