Hi I have OCD and I am finding it hard to seek help from people. Actually those who have it doesn't understand me too despite having it them selves. I don't think people can really understand OCD
@Ocdandtea only peole with OCD understand it , it's ever hard for therapists to comprehend it , here you will find all sort of people who would like to help and listen , this community is very friendly .
Best wishes
@Wormholewizard1618. Hi there.. actually I just wanted to share that I had an experience with a listener who also has OCD but he says what I have is not OCD but looking for reassurance.. I don't think anyone understands ocd, specially rumination ocd.. to think that that Listener also has OCD but he just judge me. I also suggest that this site give support to OCD which I think is rarely given attention among other disorders. I can't find Listeners here who really understands but sadly they judge
@Ocdandtea the obsessive part of OCD is just as real as the compulsive part. It doesn't have to be a "check the stove five times" symptom to have constant ruminations about the same things over and over again. They don't have to manifest themselves physocally. At least, that's what my psychiatrist said.
hello everyone , im new here , going through so much lately but still holding on , thank you so much
@Wormholewizard1618 hi and welcome! Glad you found your way here! Hope you find some good things for yourself :)

Hello, I have tried to be a part of this community before, but I find it hard to post about what I am feeling. I also tried to be a listener years ago but I found it a bit overwhelming. So I consider myselt a newbie because I haven't really managed to get involved before and this time I would really like to, for myself and for others.
Hello I'm Ell, im a newbie here and thank you for having me here. I cant wait to help people
