Relationship issues
Im 38 he's 52 he seems to think i can find better than him that he's not good enough for me. We get along great until his insecurities kick in. How can i talk to him to help him boost his self esteem?

and you are 100% worthy of it. Sorry if it seems my words are offputting. Your question is very right, you seek to 'increase his self esteem'. I think you did your share, over and beyond. you are committed, coming online to ask about the situation, caring ..Im not painting him as the "bad guy" but there comes a time we have to commit energies into protecting ourselves. I am very sorry about my inputs..
