Eventually, for your own future, she will throw you out. And you will go willingly. After several months of mourning, the world will look different.
@DavidEss thank you, I'm a few months without seeing that amazing woman, yet every day seems just as hard to get through. In fact all I see whew I close my eyes is us on a memoramem day holding hands walking along a beach in the rain.

So you have made the break. In many ways you are very fortunate that your enduring memories of the relationship are great ones.
In the long run it was for the best, really. I'm sure you know that. Few of us are constructed to be happy and fulfilled within a platonic relationship.
