This forum asks 'How did you hear about 7 cups?'. Interesting about this forum is everyone's post could me my answer. I found 7c on my very lowest night, in just needed someone to talk to coz I feel I have hit the bottom of my ropes. I did use Google and searched for online support group and the very top was 7cups of tea...my life changed after that night.
I have met many people I relate with and became friends with and even became my Tweeny, my support, my family. I wouldn't kno where I would be or what I'd be doing now if I didn't have 7cups. So for that, THANK YOU!
I am a nurse, working in a hospital in the Emergency Department. We see many patients with illness and yes some of those include mental illness...Depression, Suicide, Bipolar, Schizophrenic, Abuse, Assault, substance abuse, you get my point. When they are under my care, I especially take extra time to talk with them and try to ease their anxiety for being in the scrutiny of the Emergency Room. I tell them about this website, this particular online support group that I love and trust. I tell them about 7cups of tea and I encourage them to check it out. I even tell my patients are just in need of someone to talk to about 7 cups.
So yes, everyone, someone, like me, from the hospital, is encouraging our community. So I'm here to get a shout out to those who are introduced to 7 cups by someone in the health care field....<3
I was on the verge of attempting suocide again and I needed support and as I was watching an onision video (he's a youtuber) in one vid he had therapy links
I am so happy he posted those links, I will have to look him up and inform people. The greatest thing I have learned is that there are so many people out there who we all can relate to, so we are definitely not alone. Thank you for sharing...please continue to spread the word! Take care!! :)
