Work/ friends/ relationships no closure

hello everyone,

so, I work at a grocery store. Any work place has some kind of drama.

some back ground have a coworker me and him clicked a lot in common and just started taking. We hung out in a group of friends. And felt like I made a amazing friend cause we are going through similar problems.

I have a bf and he is single. I have guy friends and not very many friends that are girls. My bf didn’t like. That I was talking to this guy but I didn’t see a problem other then he was a guy.

my bf decided to confront him on why he was talking to me everyday and after that point he stopped messaging me but at work he was still joking and talking to me. Then all of a sudden a few people at the store started rumors saying I was saying things about him and I wasn’t. I ignored the rumors and continued working then I noticed he was avoid bagging for my check stand so I asked him why and he said he wasn’t avoiding when a few co workers asked why he was I said I wasn’t sure. Next thing I know. That day he unfriends me on social media. I gave it another week. I confront him and he said I was crossing boundaries and not respecting him and he kept saying he kept asking me to stop asking but I wasn’t sure what he was talking about since I wasn’t. Talking to him since he randomly stoped talking to me.

im starting to think he started rumors around the store

maybe he liked me more then a friend

but the last thing I text him was “what are you taking about why are you treating me like I hurt you” and he said I’m sorry I had to take things in to my own hands. He wasn’t making since and now I’m left with un answered. Questions.
