Thank you for sharing. I understand how that must be a scary feeling. From what I can see, it seems your first step is to take care of yourself, which you're doing a great job of by reaching out here. By that I mean - make sure that you have support so that you're ready to handle whatever comes next.

Then the next step is to find a time or way that you can communicate with your mother alone without anyone else in your family around. Maybe there's a simple explanation (I will confess - when I was a kid I saw something happening in front of my house one morning, and I thought it was a drug deal for a moment - then realised that it was just people delivering newspapers). It is not impossible that there is just something simple to explain it. When you ask, try to ask as innocently as possible as if you expect there to be a simple explanation.

Of course, if there's a simple explanation, then you're all done. If not ... then you turn back to the support that you had previously established, and maybe you ask your mother what she is going to do about it.

Those are my thoughts. I know this is difficult for you, and I respect you for sharing here.
