Dealing with health issues
I’m having such a hard time. I went through a breakup two months ago and moved to a new place. The beginning of this month I went to the hospital and found out I had a ruptured ovarian cyst and another complex cyst. The pain lasted a few days. I feel like I’m still suffering. But now it’s anxiety. I wake up so early with anxiety. My stomach has been upset but I’m wondering if it’s because of the ibuprofen I’ve been taking so much. And now I have myself convinced that I have ovarian cancer. My mind is ridiculous.. I can’t stop and it’s a never ending cycle. I’ve lost my appetite.. which makes me feel sick because my body is hungry. But I can’t bring myself to eat and force myself really. I just want out of this cycle.. I beg the universe. I have an appt with the doctor but I know he’ll just tell me to calm down or try to give me medicine for anxiety which oddly enough makes my anxiety worse..
I just want to feel better.. :(
@izzydizzy143 I'm truly sorry to hear that you're going through such a tough time. It's completely understandable that you're feeling overwhelmed with all these challenges you've been facing. Breakups and health issues can be incredibly difficult to navigate. It's essential to remember that what you're going through is completely valid, and your feelings are real.
Regarding your anxiety, it's quite common to experience heightened anxiety during difficult times. While I'm not a psychologist, I can suggest a few things that might help you manage your anxiety such as deep breathing which can provide some immediate relief. Try inhaling slowly for a count of four, holding for four, and then exhaling for four. This can help calm your mind. Engaging in activities you enjoy can help take your mind off your worries, even if just for a short time. Writing down your thoughts and feelings can also be a helpful way to process them. Being kind to yourself during this difficult time is crucial. Remember that it's okay to seek support from friends, family, or professionals.
It's great that you have an appointment with a doctor scheduled, seeking professional help is a difficult but helpful step towards feeling better. Please hang in there, and I hope your doctor can provide guidance to help you break free from this cycle of anxiety. If you ever want to talk, feel free to reach out. Take care 💚
