Disrespect in Pregnancy

Tw: will contain pregnancy, mentions of disrespect and discussion on feelings towards the disrespect as well as questions 

Now that the trigger warning advisory has been completed, onward to the discussion topic. Disrespect in Pregnancy has accumulated through out the years and has gotten astronomically high. Each generation of mothers' face new challenges then the last has had to face. Yes, some may have face similar, but situations vary depending on circumstance. 

As a mother myself, the world is a cruel place for genuine nurturing mother's like myself. The expectancy for a mother to accomplish everything is just out of this world and the expectations are wild at that. A little relation for others' to feel less alone, I am currently in a no contact with my daughter's bio because of disrespect that was displayed towards me. Here is where I would to address that when a mother is trying, she is not trying hard enough and if a father is trying he is simply doing his best. Which is not okay, both are human beings and credit is due where credit lies. 

Questions: 

1. How did you handle the disrespect others' gave you in pregnancy or after having the baby?

2. Do you believe that no contact is necessary for someone who is constantly disrespecting the mother emotionally and mentally?
