Husband’s ex

I looked up my husband’s ex on linkedin only by her name without checking her profile couple days ago. This morning linkedin notified me that she had viewed my profile. It was either a mistake from her end or she may want me to know that she knows I checked her out. I did that cause I realized they had communicated through linkedin and the ***

I wanted to leave it at that but then thought why acting passively?  I started thinking maybe I act pro-actively instead and message her there asking if we know each other and that I have seen her through linkedin suggestions recently. which one is a better approach?
