I am honestly disappointed
I made an account here because I thought its a really nice thing, being able to chat to someone when something is on our mind. But whenever a listener takes my chat, they either ignore me (why even take the chat then) or they just make fun and turn the conversation sexual for some reason. I dont know how those people can have 5 star reviews, and how they can still be listeners. I feel worse after coming here than before.
@FroggyTeacup I'm so sorry you've encountered this type of listener. Unfortunately, this kind of behaviour is often encountered and reported, and it is absolutely unacceptable. I encourage you to block and report these individuals. The star system is not perfect, if only one person has rated a listener 5 stars, that listener will have a 5-star rating without it holding much value. Unfortunately, negative reviews are not displayed, which is also problematic. I invite you to contact verified listeners who have passed more in-depth tests, and to review their profiles before discussing. You can see their experiences as a listener there. It has been my experience here that when i browsed listeners had similar things like you said...
however when someone who is also a listener read my forum posts and responded those listeners not only took time to really listen they had some backstory and it was not hard to get to the heart of matter.
i believe mya is a listener.

You are not alone! I've had the same experience using my member account. Listeners take the chat say hi and never respond. I've also seen a lot of replies that I feel are ChatGPT style, very wordy responses but are emotionally hollow.

That's awful. Maybe people are targeting you because showing "women's issues" as your subject of interest indicates that you're female. Not that that justifies anything

I am so sorry you had to experience that, I wonder if there are ways to contact other users privately kind of like how listeners can contact you but that way you can pick who you talk to?
