It's not okay at all.

I'm a 26y/o female, I have both PMS and PMDD I've been struggling for a while, I was a late bloomer because I was given hormone blockers for a while. I've been having periods for maybe two three years, it took a while to figure out that I struggle with both and I've been trying to deal with it.

Of course naturally being a woman we can get nasty and rude sometimes we other before or after for me it's two weeks before and two weeks after. I can't help that at all that's not my fault and I know this.

I'm very much aware of how I can be at times, I am mindful. However my mother-in-law tries to blame everything on my periods even when my two weeks just ended she will blame my periods. The today a incident happened and she blamed my periods for it when it was actually caused by childhood trauma.

I've tried to talk to her and my wife knows about this and tries to defend me, nothing gives, I'm running out of ideas and I'm tired of her pulling this sh*t out of her a** does anyone have any suggestions of are dealing with something similar?

🥺

I'm sorry you are struggling.

It can be intense.

Our moods can be quite difficult.

We don't feel ourselves.

We are in pain.

We are tired.

It can be alot.

It's difficult though when people just assume it's all related to our periods.

I would choose my battles with your mother in law, they have a tendency to get under our skin 😁

Limit what reaction you give to her and save your energy, but she doesn't get a reaction, she'll leave you be 💕💜

I hope you feel better soon 💜💕

Unfortunately the lady knows everything about me and she thinks that she knows me better than I know myself

including my periods 🙄 and there's no way she knows my periods better than I do! It doesn't matter how long she's been around she is never ever been in my body.🤯 She tends to gain power over my reactions but it's hard because she knows that I get for my mother's side I think the most. In a way she reminds me of the creeper from Jeepers creeper who feeds off of fear if you get my analogy and reference 👹
