Hi friends,

Just coming on here for some advice on a hard subject. I was SAed by my ex boyfriend 6 years ago. I’ve lived so many lives since then, but it follows me. I know it’s nothing you can “get over”, but does anyone have any advice on navigating how to get some of the weight off my shoulders? I started listening to a book this week and hadn’t realized how triggering it was. I stopped reading it but it really did make this week difficult. It does affect my sex drive and my boyfriend is very kind but it is really uncomfortable to talk about and I’ve already made this week hard on us with all my emotions

@librastar29

I'm sorry you experienced this 🥺

Your feelings are so important.

And lots of things will be triggering.

It's important though that you don't feel guilty or bad about how you feel

When your sex drive is low or you are feeling down, you should be able to communicate honestly with your boyfriend.

You did nothing wrong at all.

It's something that stays with us, but it's not who you are and it'll never define you 💕💜
