Starting this thread in case you want to discuss caregiving, isolation or any other related matters. You mentioned some groups that relate to caregiving and I was curious about them. Take care!
@PatienceImpatiens I am involved in some groups on caregivers for Alzheimer’s on f/b and through the Alzheimer’s association.It is helpful to discuss with others who are going through it they share ideas that have been helpful for me. I am sure that there must be groups for caregivers for other conditions too.

I was on a site through alz.org prior to joining 7 cups. It was when I was caring for both my aging parents.
I’ve also gone on aging.com— they have a support network.
My favorite part of alz.com was a person who has since died, sadly. Her name is JoC, or Johanna. I really missed her.
My name was different on that site. For reasons of confidentiality, I won’t say, but suffice it to say, this site was a godsend.

My current issues are caring for an aging spouse.
It’s challenging and isolating.
@PatienceImpatiens. I can understand feelings of isolation. It has been challenging for me as well and my partner is only in the beginning stages. I am going to check out that site aging .com. There is also a site called Well Spouse association. Have you heard of them?
@adventurousBranch3786
I hadn’t heard of the well spouse association. I’m looking into it. Thank you so much! It looks like a perfect cup of tea for exactly what I’m looking for! Have you had any experience with the site you feel comfortable sharing?
I’ll keep you posted as to how it goes and also as to any more support resources I find on the way.
Thank you so much for engaging in this conversation. I feel less alone already 😊
@PatienceImpatiens. They have something called Connecting Caregivers that I’m thinking of trying out. I can let you know how it goes.
