The Living with Type 2 Diabetes Program in Aniak, AK, is dedicated to supporting individuals recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes through a comprehensive, free 12-month journey of education and empowerment. Participants will receive six informative e-booklets tailored to their specific needs, along with a monthly e-newsletter filled with seasonal tips and resources designed to enhance their diabetes management. The program also highlights local community events and provides a Healthy Living newsletter in English. Enrollees who provide their phone number are invited to participate in our monthly 'Ask the Experts' Q&A sessions, where they can pose their diabetes-related questions directly to ADA experts, engage in discussions linking diabetes to heart health, and enjoy various giveaways essential for their health and well-being.
