The BIA General Assistance Program, located in Barrow, AK, is dedicated to supporting eligible families by providing essential resources for food, clothing, shelter, and utilities. Grounded in the Iñupiat values of love, respect, and compassion, this program emphasizes the importance of community and sharing. Our mission is to promote self-sufficiency through personalized support, as participants collaborate with ASNA staff to create Individual Self-Sufficiency Plans. To remain eligible, participants are required to actively seek employment and demonstrate their job search efforts monthly.
