About Elders Program

The Elders Program in Craig, AK, is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for seniors in our community by providing essential support services tailored to their unique needs. We offer a range of services including caregiver training, case management, and durable medical equipment to ensure our elders have the resources they need. Our program also features consumer-directed personal care assistant services, respite care, and fall prevention education, alongside critical Medicare and Medicaid assistance. Engaging the community, we host a monthly Elder Food Box program and organize teas and potlucks to foster connection and support. Additional resources include elder transportation within the Anchorage area, advocacy services, and access support to improve overall well-being. Through initiatives like Gatekeeper Training and Older Adult Mental Health First Aid Training, we empower both seniors and caregivers to create a healthier, more supportive environment for our older adults.
